Conservative, Respect, Lib Dem and Green mayoral candidates about MPs, the press, Amy Winehouse and breakfast.

Pictures from top to bottom: Boris Johnson - Conservative; Lindsey German - Respect; Brian Paddick - Lib Dem; Sian Berry - Green.

Who is the most attractive opposition MP?

Boris Johnson: I couldn’t possibly comment.
Lindsay German: Marwan Barghouti, the imprisoned Palestinian MP.
Brian Paddick: I only have eyes for my boyfriend.
Sian Berry: Hmm, I’ve had a look around and they don’t call politics “show business for ugly people” for nothing, do they? He’s old enough to be my granddad but can I say Tony Benn? Oona King isn’t an MP any more either, but she always looks lovely

London Lite Vs the London Paper

BJ: I enjoy both.
LG: thelondonpaper
BP: Whatever’s left on the seat.
SB: thelondonpaper; they have excellent green coverage, and use eco-friendly ink

Barbara or Elizabeth Windsor?

BJ: The Queen, although Barbara is also a national treasure.
LG: I’m a republican from Hackney, so it’s Barbara.
BP: Barbara.
SB: I have to say Barbara.

Where is the best place in London to be at 5am?

BJ: In bed, I should think.
LG: In summer, on one of the bridges looking at the sunrise; in winter, in bed.
BP: In bed.
SB: In summer, the top of Parliament Hill

Who are you backing for the European Championships?

BJ: Without England playing I’m going to have to hope for a good tournament.
LG: I’m not.

SB: Croatia, where several of my friends are from (sorry England), or France

If London were a person she’d be…?

BP: Regency Cafe, Pimlico.
SB: My local cafe, Rustique, in Kentish Town

Which London acts are on your iPod?

BJ: One of my children stole my iPod.

LG: Amy Winehouse.
BP: Lily.
SB: Amy.

Favourite London cemetery?

BJ: That’s a little morbid!
LG: With memorials to Karl Marx and Paul Foot, it has to be Highgate.
BP: I find them dead boring.
SB: Highgate. It’s spooky, and not fussy about religion, which is why you can find atheists like Karl Marx there

Full English or continental breakfast?

BJ: No contest - a full English.
LG: Full English.
BP: Full English (no beans).
SB: English, no beans please

Dame Helen Mirren or Dame Judi Dench?

LG: Facebook.
BP: Facebook.

Caomhan Keane is a very angry young man. He is full of piss and vinegar, the condiments of life. If, like Annie, you're never fully dressed without a smile, he's willing to be naked the live long day. Favourite place in London: The airport - so i can get out of this wretched place!
