As a reaction to the murder of 16-year-old Ben Kinsella this weekend, hundreds of people gathered outside Islington town hall today to protest the growing numbers of knife crimes occurring in London.

Pete Doherty was released from jail yesterday morning, in a move that was almost certainly a reaction from the Government to Boris Johnson becoming London mayor.
